Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dyzo Owl, a product operated by PRP Webs(“Dyzo Owl,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at owl.dyzo.ai, our browser extension, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and an encrypted password (managed by our authentication provider).
- Guide content. The step-by-step guides you create, including text descriptions, the order of steps, annotations, and screenshotscaptured by the extension. Screenshots may contain whatever was on your screen when you recorded — see “Your responsibilities” below.
- Usage data. Basic technical data such as log information, device/browser type, and timestamps used to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To create, store, and render your guides and screenshots.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing and public guides
Guides are private by default. If you mark a guide as “public,” anyone with the share link can view it without an account. You control whether a guide is public and can make it private again at any time. We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only with infrastructure providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service — for example, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database, authentication, and file-storage provider (Supabase). These providers are bound by their own data protection commitments.
4. Your responsibilities (sensitive data)
Because the extension captures screenshots of your screen, captures may include personal or confidential information. You are responsible for reviewing each guide and redacting sensitive data before sharing. Dyzo Owl provides tools to help — automatic blur of password fields during capture, plus manual blur, boxes, and text annotations in the editor.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and guide content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual guides at any time, which removes their steps and associated screenshots. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security so that users can only access their own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date.
